Intensive Therapy That Creates Lasting Change

Our specialized DMI intensive programs are designed to accelerate your child's progress through neuroplasticity, helping them achieve developmental milestones faster than traditional therapy approaches.

We Understand The Struggles You're Facing Right Now

Limited Progress with Traditional Therapy

Weekly sessions aren't providing the breakthrough results your child needs. You're investing time and energy but not seeing any lasting progress.

All of the Overwhelming Options for Therapy

You're drowning in conflicting advice about which approach is best. The endless research and decisions are exhausting when you just want to help your child.

Always Feels Like Time is Running Out

You worry about missing critical windows for development. Every day feels precious, but you're unsure which therapy will actually make a difference.

Why DMI Intensive Therapy Gets Results

Unlike traditional therapy, which often works within a child’s current abilities, DMI intensive programs actively change and engage the brain to create new neural pathways.

Through carefully designed exercises that challenge your child’s brain to body connection, we provoke automatic postural responses that lead to lasting motor improvements.

This intensive approach allows us to provide the repetition and challenge needed for neuroplasticity to occur, helping your child achieve milestones faster than traditional weekly therapy sessions.

Your Baby's Path to Lasting Progress

Our proven approach combines advanced DMI techniques  with compassionate care for lasting progress.

Comprehensive Initial Evaluation

We assess your infant's movement patterns, muscle tone, and motor control while learning about your family's goals and your baby's unique needs.

Personalized Daily Intensive Sessions

Your infant receives 55-minute therapy sessions each day for 2 weeks, using dynamic exercises designed to challenge and engage their developing nervous system.

Watch Milestones Unfold

Through repetition and neuroplasticity, your baby begins achieving functional movements—rolling, sitting, reaching, crawling—that become automatic and lasting.

Real Families, Real Progress, Real Hope

Hear from families who found their breakthrough and watched their child achieve milestones they once thought impossible.

"We loved Dallas DMI! Emily was great with my son—he has muscle weakness, and she handled him so gently and with care. She also took the time to show us how to use the e-stim device and made sure we felt comfortable with it. We did a two-week intensive therapy, and it was a great experience overall. We really appreciate her help and planning to visit again!"

"We had a great experience with Dallas DMI! My baby had a complex 3.5-month NICU stay and was slightly behind in milestones. Emily made great progress with him in just 2 weeks. We couldn’t be happier!"
Megan Ferraguti
"We LOVE Dallas DMI! my daughter has had several intensives with Dr. Tiffany in the last couple years and we’ve been so happy with the outcome! Shiloh is now walking and thriving! Dr. Tiffany was so gentle with my daughter but also pushed her just enough to get her to feel comfortable with the exercises. highly recommend her! Can’t wait for our next intensive! "
Cynthia Luna
"Dr. Tiffany was excellent- professional, knowledgeable, kind, and motherly. It was truly amazing how much progress we saw during our intensive. I had been working with our baby on rolling every single day with traditional PT exercises since he was 2 months old, and he just wasn’t getting it. On day 9 of the intensive, I took him home and he rolled independently 6 times. He hasn’t stopped rolling since! I am excited to see what skills he can achieve next with Dallas DMI! Really impressed with the doctors and the facility was extremely clean and just what you would want for your child."
"We have done 5 intensives with Dallas DMI since Jan 2024! We have watched our daughter grow so much physically and even intellectually during this time! She is strong willed, but Dr. Tiffany and Emily have found ways to work with our daughter to reach her full potential! They are honest, they provide great feedback and are real about the dedication it takes both with them and at home to see these changes last."
"Our son completed his first intensive in February of this year, and we were truly astonished at the progress he made during those two weeks. We were also thoroughly impressed at the knowledge and genuine care that Dr. Tiffany and Emily provide. We look forward to scheduling another intensive and continuing to be a part of the Dallas DMI family."

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand how overwhelming it can feel to reach out for help. Our team is here to answer your questions about infant physical therapy and DMI intensive programs.

What is DMI intensive therapy and how is it different from traditional physical therapy?

DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) intensive therapy is a specialized approach that uses structured, repetitive movements to actively engage your child's nervous system and create new neural pathways through neuroplasticity.

Unlike traditional weekly physical therapy sessions that often work within a child's current abilities, DMI intensive programs provide daily 55-minute sessions over 2-3 weeks.

This concentrated approach challenges the brain to develop new movement patterns and helps children achieve developmental milestones faster than traditional therapy. Many families come to us after months or years of weekly therapy with limited progress and see breakthrough results during their intensive program.

How long are the intensive programs and what does a typical session look like?

We offer 2-week and 3-week intensive programs with daily therapy sessions. Each session is 55 minutes long and tailored to your child's specific needs and abilities.

Our therapists guide your child through carefully selected dynamic exercises in various positions—lying, sitting, kneeling, or standing—depending on their current function and goals.

The exercises are designed to provoke automatic responses and stimulate balance, strength, and coordination. Sessions are engaging and structured to keep your child motivated while maximizing their progress.

What age children do you work with, and is my child too young or too old for DMI therapy?

We work with infants as young as 5 weeks old who have known neurological involvement or are at risk of disability. Early intervention with DMI can significantly improve long-term outcomes.

We do have a 45-pound weight limit for our standard DMI intensive programs, but we're happy to discuss modified DMI options for children who exceed this limit.

During your free consultation, we'll assess your child's current abilities and discuss whether an intensive program is the right fit for their needs and your family's goals.

What conditions can be treated with DMI intensive therapy?

Our specialized DMI approach helps children with various neurological, developmental, and genetic conditions, including cerebral palsy, hypotonia (low muscle tone), dystonia, athetoid movements, ataxia, complex movement disorders, developmental delays, prematurity/NICU graduates, and genetic conditions affecting motor control.

Even if your child hasn't been given a specific diagnosis but is simply not meeting developmental milestones, DMI intensive therapy may be able to help. We create personalized treatment plans based on each child's unique challenges and potential, regardless of their current level of function.
